Product strategy
Framing the traveller journey — plan, book, go — around one clear app.

Concept · Travel & Tourism
A travel app concept for the whole trip — itineraries, bookings and on-trip experiences in one place. Plan a route, book tours and stays, then follow guides, maps and digital tickets on the road. A sample showing how we'd shape a travel & tourism product for iOS and Android.
An illustrative concept — a sample case study showing how we'd approach Travel & Tourism, not a delivered client project.

The context
Planning a trip means juggling a spreadsheet, a maps pin list, a booking site, an email with the tour voucher and a screenshot of the ticket. Once you land, the pieces scatter — and the one you need is always the one you can't find, usually with no signal.
Wandr pulls the whole trip into one app: the itinerary, the bookings, the guides, the map and the tickets, together — so the plan and the day it belongs to travel with you.
The challenge
A travel app is used away from a desk — in a foreign city, on a different time zone, at the gate or on the trail. The moment it matters most is often the moment the connection drops, so the design has to stay calm and useful with one bar of signal.
So we designed for the road first: big tap targets, clear next steps, offline maps and tickets, and a booking flow that confirms cleanly even when the network doesn't. The depth of a full travel platform with the feel of a phone app.
Skills
Framing the traveller journey — plan, book, go — around one clear app.
Flows, wireframes and a calm, glanceable interface for people on the move.
Interactive prototypes to pressure-test the booking, ticket and on-trip flows.
One native-quality product concept designed for both platforms.
Location-aware guides, maps and offline tickets designed for a foreign city.
A shared teal-cyan colour, type and component system across every screen.
What we'd build
Day-by-day itineraries a traveller can build, save and follow — the whole trip in one place instead of ten browser tabs.
Search, book and pay for tours, stays and experiences in one flow, with confirmations that hold up on the road.
Live schedules, local guides and gentle nudges timed to where the traveller actually is — the part of the trip after booking.
Location-aware maps and walking directions, cached before departure so they still work with no data plan.
Scannable tickets and passes that open from the lock screen and work when there is no signal at the gate.
Ratings, recommendations and timely add-ons that turn one booking into a fuller trip and a repeat traveller.
Under the hood
The screens are simple; the plumbing is not. A travel app has to book across suppliers, issue tickets instantly, and keep maps and passes working when the signal drops — all while staying fast in a hand that's also carrying a suitcase.
Passes, itineraries and maps cached before departure, so the app works with no data plan.
Search, book and pay for tours and stays in one flow, with confirmations issued on the spot.
Guides and nudges timed to where the traveller actually is during the trip.
Actions taken offline queue up and sync cleanly the moment the network returns.
Designed so travellers use the app in their own language, wherever they land.
One product concept, both platforms, one design system.
“The whole trip — plan, book and go — in one app that keeps working far from home.”
Design system
A single confident teal-cyan marks every action — plan, book, board, review — against clean white lists, so a trip full of moving parts reads as one clear next step at a time.

A trip that used to live across a dozen apps, carried in one — itinerary, bookings, guides, maps and tickets, working together, on the road and off the grid.
FAQ
Wandr is a sample travel & tourism app concept by Namtech — an illustrative case study, not a delivered client project. It shows how a traveller could plan itineraries, book tours and stays, follow on-trip guides and maps, and carry digital tickets and reviews from a single app on iOS and Android.
Wandr is a design concept, so nothing was shipped to production. As a sample, Namtech shaped the product idea and designed the traveller flows end to end: trip itineraries, tour and stay bookings, on-trip guides, maps and directions, digital tickets, and reviews & upsell — unified by a single design system for iOS and Android.
In the concept, yes. Maps, guides, itineraries and digital tickets are cached before departure and actions queue to sync when the network returns — because a travel app is used in foreign cities and airports where data drops out at the worst moment.
