Education & Childcare

Apps parents actually trust.

Namtech builds enrolment, parent communication, attendance, fee-payment and progress-tracking apps for schools and childcare — designed for the people who use them most, the parents, and for the front desk that can’t afford to drown in paperwork.

What we build

The whole centre, one system.

Six things an education app has to get right — enrolment, parent communication, progress tracking, attendance, fee payments and scheduling — built to work together instead of as six disconnected tools.

01

Enrolment & registration

Online sign-up, waitlists and document upload that fill classes without paper forms or front-desk queues.

02

Parent communication

Announcements, chat, photos and consent forms in one channel — so parents stop chasing staff on three different apps.

03

Learning progress tracking

Milestones, report cards and portfolios that show parents what their child is actually learning, term by term.

04

Attendance & check-in

QR or tap check-in and check-out with real-time alerts, so staff always know exactly which children are on-site.

05

Fee payments

Recurring billing, invoices and reminders that get fees paid on time without the front desk chasing receipts.

06

Class scheduling

Timetables, room and teacher allocation and bookings that keep every class, term and holiday programme in sync.

Who we build for

Every setting has a different rhythm.

Preschools & childcare

Daily reports, check-in and parent updates for the youngest cohort.

Enrichment centres

Class bookings, packages and progress notes across weekend batches.

K-12 schools

Attendance, timetables and school-wide announcements at scale.

Tuition centres

Scheduling, fee collection and homework tracking for busy terms.

Edtech products

Learning apps, content delivery and student progress dashboards.

Corporate training

Course delivery, enrolment and completion tracking for teams.

Why education & childcare is different

Here the parents are the users as much as the students. Trust, child safety and clear communication decide whether they stay. And attendance and fees have to be effortless — because the moment they’re not, the front desk drowns and the goodwill goes with it.

FAQ

Asked by every school & centre.

How much does an education or childcare app cost?

At Namtech, an app with enrolment, fee payments and progress tracking is typically a Business build — from SGD 38,000, with a fixed quote after one scoping call. A focused single-centre MVP can start from SGD 20,000, and a multi-campus or edtech platform from SGD 90,000.

Do you build a separate app for parents and staff?

Usually one app with roles. Parents see announcements, progress and fees; staff and admins get attendance, enrolment and a dashboard. Splitting into two apps is possible, but most groups start with role-based access inside a single Business build from SGD 38,000.

How do you handle child safety and data privacy for minors?

We design for it from day one — role-based access, consent capture, and controls over who can see a child’s photos and records. Data handling is scoped to your jurisdiction (PDPA in Singapore and equivalents elsewhere) so parent data and children’s records are protected.

Can parents pay fees inside the app?

Yes. We build recurring billing, invoices and reminders with in-app payment, so fees get collected on time and the front desk stops chasing receipts. Payment integration is scoped up front in a Business build.

How does attendance and check-in work?

Parents or staff check children in and out by QR or tap, with real-time alerts. Staff always know who is on-site, and attendance flows straight into reports — no clipboard, no manual tally at the end of the day.

How long does an education app take to build?

Most enrolment, communication and fee apps ship in 12–20 weeks, including QA on real devices and App Store & Google Play submission. A single-centre MVP can be faster; timeline is confirmed in the proposal.

Caring for children is hard enough. The app shouldn't be.
