Product strategy
Scoping two apps — customer and shipper — and the ordering journey that ties them.

Case study · F&B
A healthy-food ordering and delivery app for Vietnam — browse the menu, apply vouchers, pay by cash, Momo or VNPay, and watch the shipper come to your door in real time. We shaped the product and built the customer and shipper apps for iOS and Android.

The context
A healthy-food kitchen lives or dies on freshness and timing. Phone orders and third-party apps meant lost tickets, no way to track a rider, and a customer left guessing where their lunch was.
Như Nhiên brings the whole loop in-house: order and pay in the app, the kitchen sees it instantly, a shipper picks it up, and the customer watches it arrive on a map. We designed and built both sides of that loop.
The challenge
Food apps compete on how quickly a hungry person can go from opening the app to a confirmed order. Every extra tap between a craving and checkout is a dropped order.
So we designed an appetising, low-friction flow: a food-forward home, a cart that keeps totals and vouchers clear, familiar Vietnamese payment methods, and a live map that turns the anxious wait into something you can watch — on the customer app and its companion shipper app alike.
Skills
Scoping two apps — customer and shipper — and the ordering journey that ties them.
Flows, wireframes and a fresh, appetising interface that makes ordering effortless.
Interactive prototypes to pressure-test the cart, checkout and live-tracking flows.
Native-quality customer and shipper apps delivered on both platforms.
Testing on real devices, then App Store and Google Play submission.
A shared green-and-yellow colour, type and component system across every screen.
What we built
Browse dishes, add to a cart and check out — with a flat-rate delivery fee shown up front.
A wallet of discount vouchers customers apply at checkout, plus weekly promotions.
Pay by cash on delivery, Momo or VNPay — the methods Vietnamese customers actually use.
Watch the shipper move on a map in real time, with one tap to call or message them.
Clear status steps — preparing, on the way, delivered — so no one wonders where their food is.
Rate the shipper after delivery, browse order history and re-order a favourite in a tap.
Under the hood
A food order is a small real-time system. Behind the menu sit a customer app and a shipper app kept in sync, a live GPS map, an order state-machine, voucher logic, push notifications and Vietnamese payment integrations — each delivered natively on both platforms.
Two native products for iOS and Android, kept in sync around one order.
The shipper's position on a map, updating in real time to the customer.
Preparing → on the way → delivered, reflected on both apps.
Cash, Momo and VNPay checkout wired into the ordering flow.
A voucher wallet and weekly offers applied at checkout.
A shared green-and-yellow system across every screen.
“Healthy food, ordered in a few taps — and tracked all the way to your door.”
Design system
A leafy green carries the "Fresh & Healthy" promise, a warm yellow adds appetite, and generous white space lets the food photography do the selling — so ordering feels light, not busy.
#679538#E0A92E#FFFFFFThe outcome
A food-ordering app that feels fresh and simple — order, pay, and watch it arrive — with the kitchen and the shipper working from the same live order.
FAQ
Như Nhiên ("Fresh & Healthy") is a Vietnamese healthy-food ordering and delivery app — browse the menu, apply vouchers, pay by cash, Momo or VNPay, and track the shipper live on a map. Namtech designed and built it for iOS and Android.
Namtech shaped the product and delivered two native apps — a customer app and a shipper app: menu and cart, vouchers and promotions, cash/Momo/VNPay checkout, real-time map tracking, order-status steps, shipper ratings, order history and notifications — unified by a single design system.
It is built for a Vietnamese healthy-food restaurant and the customers who order from it, plus the delivery riders who fulfil those orders through the companion shipper app.
