Product strategy
Scoping the hire-to-onboard-to-self-service journey around one recruitment and HR product.

Concept · Recruitment & HR
A concept recruitment and HR app that carries a person from applied to onboarded to everyday employee — a candidate pipeline with interview scheduling, digital onboarding, and self-service for leave, payslips and shifts. We shaped the product and designed it for iOS and Android.
An illustrative concept — a sample case study showing how we'd approach Recruitment & HR, not a delivered client project.

The context
A candidate is tracked in a spreadsheet, interviewed over email, onboarded on paper — then, the moment they’re hired, they fall into a different system for leave, payslips and shifts. Every handover is a chance to drop a person, a signature or a first-day task.
Hyre imagines one product for the whole arc: the same person moves from a candidate card in the pipeline to an employee with self-service in their pocket, without ever being re-keyed from one tool into the next.
The challenge
A recruiter lives in the pipeline — stages, interviews, offers — and needs to move fast across many candidates. An employee opens the app a few times a month to book leave or check a payslip, and needs it to be obvious the first time. The same product has to serve both without feeling like two apps bolted together.
So the concept splits cleanly by role: a focused pipeline and scheduling surface for recruiters, and a calm, glanceable self-service home for employees — sharing one design language, one sign-in, one source of truth.
Skills
Scoping the hire-to-onboard-to-self-service journey around one recruitment and HR product.
Flows, wireframes and a calm interface that serves both recruiters and everyday employees.
Interactive prototypes to pressure-test the pipeline, scheduling and onboarding flows.
One native-quality product designed for both platforms.
Modelling leave, payslips and shifts so the everyday HR admin runs itself.
A shared violet colour, type and component system across every screen.
What we built
A stage-based board — applied, screening, interview, offer, hired — so recruiters see where every candidate stands at a glance.
Propose slots, confirm times and send reminders in one place, without the back-and-forth of email tag.
Paperwork, checklists and a welcome journey that turn a signed offer into a productive first day.
Employees request time off, watch it move through approval, and see their remaining balance — no forms, no chasing.
Every payslip in the employee’s pocket, downloadable and searchable, instead of an inbox attachment they lost.
Published rosters, shift swaps and confirmed availability, keeping the deployed workforce and the office in sync.
Under the hood
The screens are simple; the model behind them is not. In the concept, a single person record carries from candidate to employee — so an interview, an offer, an onboarding task, a leave request and a payslip all hang off the same identity, with the right people seeing the right slice.
Candidate becomes employee on the same identity — no re-keying between hiring and HR.
Recruiters see the pipeline; employees see only their own leave, payslips and shifts.
Interview slots and shift changes push notifications so nothing waits in an inbox.
Offers and first-day paperwork signed in-app and filed against the record.
Consent, access controls and retention rules for sensitive candidate and staff data.
One product, both platforms, one design system.
“From a candidate card to a payslip in their pocket — one app for the whole employee journey.”
Design system
A single confident violet marks every action — schedule, sign, request, approve — against clean white lists, so a busy pipeline and a personal HR home both read as one clear next step at a time.

A concept where hiring and everyday HR stop being two systems — a candidate becomes an employee on the same record, from the first application to this week’s shift.
FAQ
Hyre is a concept recruitment and HR app — a candidate pipeline with interview scheduling, digital onboarding, and employee self-service for leave, payslips and shifts. It is an illustrative sample designed by Namtech to show how we would approach a Recruitment & HR product for iOS and Android, not a delivered client project.
As a concept, Namtech shaped the product and designed it end to end: the stage-based candidate pipeline, interview scheduling, digital onboarding, and employee self-service for leave, payslips and shifts — unified by a single design system across iOS and Android.
Yes — that is the idea Hyre illustrates. One product carries a candidate from applied through interview, offer and onboarding, then keeps serving them as an employee through leave, payslips and shifts, so hiring and everyday HR live in the same place.
