Product strategy
Scoping the warehouse and delivery workflow around a live Odoo backend.

Case study · Logistics
A warehouse and delivery app that runs on Odoo. Staff sign in to their Odoo instance, then work delivery orders, live inventory, proof-of-delivery and payment from a phone — every action synced back to the ERP. We shaped the product and built it for iOS and Android.

The context
The stock, the orders and the customers all live in Odoo — but the person picking, delivering and collecting payment was working from printouts, then re-keying everything back at a desk. Every hop is a chance to lose a line, a signature or a payment.
ARC puts Odoo in their hand. Sign in to the company’s Odoo, and the day’s delivery orders, live stock and customer details are right there — and what happens on the floor writes straight back to the ERP.
The challenge
Odoo is powerful but dense — not something you tap through one-handed while carrying a box. The people using ARC needed only what the moment calls for: the next order, whether the stock is there, a place to sign, a way to get paid.
So we designed a calm, glanceable interface on top of the full Odoo model: big tap targets, clear order states, and every list backed by live data — the depth of an ERP with the feel of a consumer app.
Skills
Scoping the warehouse and delivery workflow around a live Odoo backend.
Flows, wireframes and a clean, glanceable interface for staff on the move.
Interactive prototypes to pressure-test the order, signature and payment flows.
One native-quality product delivered on both platforms.
Reading and writing live inventory, orders and customers to and from Odoo.
A shared teal colour, type and component system across every screen.
What we built
Staff connect to their own Odoo instance by server URL and work from live company data — no second system to maintain.
Pick, pack and drop off warehouse delivery orders end to end, with status synced back to Odoo in real time.
Real-time stock levels and product details straight from Odoo, so what the app shows is what the warehouse holds.
The day’s orders and line items, each with its stock availability, so nothing ships that isn’t there.
Capture the customer’s signature and photos on the spot, attached to the order back in Odoo.
Collect cash, check or card against the delivery and record it on the order — no paperwork later.
Under the hood
The screens are simple; the plumbing is not. ARC talks to Odoo both ways — pulling live inventory, delivery orders and customers, and pushing back signatures, photos, payments and status — while staying usable through the patchy connectivity of a loading bay or a delivery run.
Live inventory, orders and customers in; signatures, photos, payments and status out.
Point the app at any company’s Odoo instance — no bespoke backend per client.
Built to keep working through the dead spots of a warehouse or a delivery route.
Proof of delivery captured on device and attached to the Odoo order.
Cash, check or card recorded against the order at the door.
One product, both platforms, one design system.
“Your Odoo warehouse and delivery flow — in the driver’s pocket, synced in real time.”
Design system
A single confident teal marks every action — sign, capture, pay, complete — against clean white lists, so a warehouse full of data reads as one clear next step at a time.

One tap from Odoo to the warehouse floor — orders, stock, signatures and payment captured where the work happens, not re-keyed at a desk.
FAQ
ARC (by avb marketing) is a warehouse and delivery mobile app that connects to Odoo. Warehouse staff and drivers manage delivery orders, live inventory, proof-of-delivery and payment from a phone, with everything synced to Odoo. Namtech designed and built it for iOS and Android.
Users sign in with their own Odoo server URL. The app reads live inventory, delivery orders and customers from Odoo and writes signatures, photos, payments and order status back — so there is no double data entry between the warehouse floor and the ERP.
Namtech shaped the product and delivered the native iOS and Android app end to end: Odoo sign-in, the delivery-order workflow, live inventory, pick and deliver lists, signature and photo proof-of-delivery, in-app payment, and reports and history — unified by a single design system.
